If you have any specific questions I can answer about the Rezound, just let me know I will help however I can. Joined Dec 28, Messages Reaction score 3. I've read that people seem to agree that the Rezound has better radios.
It is fast, and a better screen. This thing is hd. But with the speed and awesome screen you are going to sacrifice a bit on the battery. It usually lasts me all day. If you care more about the latest versions of the OS and easily modifiable with roms, you might give the nexus a look.
If you care about a rock solid phone that works, I would recommend the Rezound. I waited for the nexus and really wanted to buy one, but the rezound really grew on me and that's what I ended up with. I'm very happy with it. I liked the screen better because it is sooo sharp and still looks excellent even at low brightness. Can't say the same for the gnex. Also, the camera is better.
While the fast shooting of the gnex is cool, I had problems getting most of my shots in focus unless I took a lot of time and held the camera very steady. The reason is that it sacrifices time to focus in order to take so many shots. The rezound, however is constantly adjusting its focus and almost all my shots are in focus without even thinking about it.
It just takes great photos time ans time again. Now if having the latest os or an NFC chip, of tons of roms is very important to you, then I would say get the gnex, otherwise the rezound has better radios, camera and seems to have far fewer bugs. Best bet is to try both at the store and go with your gut. Joined Dec 23, Messages 25, Reaction score 6, I had both.
The radios and sound was better on the rezound. Nexus had better battery life, smoother sense slows the processor a bit and the nexus was better for roms most people running jb now on nexus. As far as screen i think that is based on perspective but i felt the rezound did much better showing reds and true white. He got me livin cleaner. Ridin round bumping that kingdom.
Are you thinking of exchanging your rezound for nexus trackman? I work with a guy that has has been showing off his nexus with jellybean on it. He absolutely loves it and would not trade it for anything else. My rezound gets made fun of. What that means is, there isn't any manufacturer overlay software that gets between you and Android. Verizon may add some of its apps, but they shouldn't be too intrusive or slow the device down. Rezound on the other hand won't get the Android 4.
Sense is supposed to make the phone easier to use, but if you compare Android at full volume, if you will, on the Galaxy Nexus, to Sense, Android wins. In reality, Sense won't bother most people, but the power of Android is that it is so customizable, and that freedom will be quite pronounced on the Galaxy Nexus.
Tell us in the comments if you are waffling between these two or any other smartphones. The camera, despite slightly lower megapoxels, still bests the other two phones' cameras. You should know not to judge camera quality by mega pixels. I tried getting the Samsung Galaxy Nexus the day it came out, but it was sold out at the first dozen stores I went to before I finally found a shop that had just one left.
Seems like a lot of other people are loving this phone like myself. Galaxy Nexus is the best. I spent a couple of weeks with the Razr and liked it. The phone was fast, the latest Blur was pretty decent anx the speaker was great. The camera sucked for 8MP.
I bought a Galaxy Nexus a couple of days ago and love it. ICS is sick. The speaker is weak but I downloaded an app from the market that boosts volume to Razr levels. Overall the phone is amazing. Accurate journalism please. I don't know if this is a tech site or not, but it seems like one, and if so it's a disgrace LeFleur does not seem to be aware that the Galaxy Nexus has the best camera quality of the three even with lower MPs. It's basic knowledge. How embarrassing.
Comming from blur, touchwiz, and sense, i feel like stock ICS is far superior. Dont be fooled by the apparent inferior specs. The nexus is freakin sweet and polished for an Android phone. Look at iPhone running an mhz dual core and its still superior to all three, in some regard, but im a geek and I love Android. Rezound, like an ugly muscle car. Razr, a gay ass lotus. Nexus, a freakin Porsche or Ferrari or Lambo.
I love being a tech pirate. Nexes all the way! Razr all the way. It was a tough call but the build quality of the Razr one me over. Can't see paying over dollars for a beautiful screen wrapped in thin plastic, with a sub-par speaker, weaker radio, and 5 MP camera. The Razr cuts through the Nexus like butter. Not even close. Had a Rent-a-Rezound during holiday return policy, now have a Nexus.
No 4G issues, aside from the nationwide outages from VZW. Updates and dev support are light years ahead of non-google phones.
Camera is OK on Nexus, and was a bit better on a Rezound What app? If you're looking for good speakers on a phone, you're looking in the wrong place. Seems like you're embracing insignificant features of a phone in favor of the central feature of a phone, which is the screen. Are you kidding?!
In what. In what ways do you feel the iphone is superior to these three phones?
