At this stage, Tupac and Biggie were no longer friends due to the November 30th, Quad Studio shooting in which Tupac blamed Biggie for having prior knowledge about the shooting.

At the beginning of each episode they state some things might be dramatized for the shows sake and I must say I haven't once felt like this caused any problems for the story. Overall the series is compelling and entertaining, if you are interested in the murders of Biggie and Tupac but don't know much about the topic this would be a good place to start researching and learning, although it does get a bit confusing at times, so be sure to pay attention all the way.
